They're seriously running out of ideas

They are running out of ideas on what to add to an iPhone to have the confidence to upgrade the number.
And they’re not the only ones — the phone industry has reached a maturity point.
iPhone 12 and 13 up to 16 are basically the same thing.
People like me would always upgrade because we like new stuff — but the small differences like camera are not going to matter in 95% of cases to 95% of users.
I’m really not seeing the point of a foldable phone too much.
The main pro they all say is how the small screen can fold out into a larger screen space to make for something like a tablet.
If they can find a way to drastically reduce the thickness of the screen so the device isn’t so bulky when folded, then maybe it makes sense.
Even then it doesn’t look like it’ll be ideal.

Would you rather have a normal-thickness phone + a paper for a tablet? Or a normal-thickness tablet and book for a phone.
I’m thinking either the phone will be too bulky for constant use and pocketing compared to current phones.
